    9:20 PM EST — ABC News projects Ohio will give its 20 electoral votes to Barack Obams, because of a 10% drop on Republican voters. This is huge in significance. No Republican has won the presidency without Ohio.

    The New York Times has declared Barach Obama the winner of North Carolina’s 15 electoral votes, with 49.9% of the popular vote to 49.5% for John McCain. Winning North Carolina was beyond my wildest dreams.
